It has been a little while since I have made an entry. I have just finished a big plate of lasagna and a lo of ice cream and I am ready to write. The last couple of weeks have been great. Christian Marlow came in a coupe of times. We have not seen him for over a year. He has grown considerably and he is faster then ever and harder to hit than I remember. Mick Boven is another blessing that is slowly becoming a regular. Mick is a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He has been visiting us for the last few years and he loves to spar. Mick is about 6'3" or 6'4" and uses his legs very, very well. His hands are getting more and more accurate. He is a joy to have in class and is a great competitor.
Now for my Loyal Warriors; Tyler, Kent (aka Kevin), Devon, Makenzie, Jason and Chad. They are tireless. They come to class and soak up everything Chris and I throw at them. They are a pleasure to teach and make me proud to be an instructor. I think the only thing they do not like about class is my warm ups.
We have a new student, Derik Bell. He is young and eager to learn. I feel sure that I will be adding his name to my list of Loyal Warriors very soon.
