Halls Family Night

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who showed up last night for our monthly Family Night.  I for one had a ball.  It looked like  everyone came fired up and ready to play.  That tickles me, I even saw several people bleeding a little, including me.  I am always humbled to see some of the upper ranking black belts taking time out to work with the younger belts on improving their skills.

If anyone lost a Timex IronMan watch, I have it in my bag.  It doesn't look good with my skin tone so if you would like it back please stop by Halls on Tuesday or Thursday nights and I will be happy to return it to you.

Just want to echo Brad's sentiment, Great Night!!!
Attendance was down a bit but the serious Martial Artists were there in force …. With the exception of our very own Kent “teddy bear” Blankenship who is missing in action …..
Big Thanks to Brandon and Doyle for the coaching, pointers and bruises (mostly inflicted on my ego) … I promise I listened and will be working on the advice I received.
Also Big Thanks to Sensei Lewis, Sensei Hembree and Master Bowers for running the rings … Sensei Lewis let no one step out of the ring without learning something new ….
As Brad said, we couldn’t hope for a better class of high ranking karateka willing to drop their egos at the door and focus solely on helping every person there push themselves to become the best Martial Artist they can be…

Amen to Mr. Mike and Thanks to Mr. Bradley! It seems what was needed, took place, the constant coaxing of kind hearted black belts. The great lead in of prayer by Mr. Mills. A few wild off target swings by newbies. Some amazing accuracy by oldies. Some kisses that could have been crashes, and some crashes that made me laugh (not a knitting class!) Thank you Mr. Bradley for letting us be there, I love playing with "the Family" hahaha. God Bless, Keith

      Hey Brandon,
You don't have to thank the punching bag every time you use it ......
We'll do all we can to keep it interesting ....
